Sales Manager

Purpose Statement

Reporting to the Managing Director, the outside Foundry Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales into the Foundry keeping team updated on prospecting sales activity. Developing New Business, Building and sustaining relationships, Prospecting, Monitoring, and tracking monthly sales. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company.  This position is expected to travel 50% of the time.

Develop and sustain an atmosphere of continuous improvement in line with Castalloy's values, policies and business plan.

  • Adhere to all Castalloy policies and procedures.
  • Expected to work unsupervised and to be accountable and responsible for your activities.
  • Required to work in a manner conducive to being part of the Castalloy sales and marketing team.
  • Required to effectively implement Castalloy company strategies and policy.

Castalloy employs around 50 staff and produces high quality wear resistant castings for domestic and export markets in the shotblast and resource sectors totaling approximately £5M per annum.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Technical Management, Sales or related preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in outside sales in an industrial organization, metal casting or related is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
• Familiarity with Casting/Foundries & related business practices • Valid Drivers license and willingness to travel.
• Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets with excellent follow through and follow up
• Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations.
